This assignment required me to develop a dissenting viewpoint on a current political, economic, or cultural cause or issue in the United States today. Then, I had to advocate for my position through a poster that identified and asserted my viewpoint to a select or general audience.
I created a poster that speaks to the surge and harmfulness of plastic pollution in the ocean. My poster encourages a general audience to reduce the amount of single-use plastic they consume and dispose of.
