This assignment required developing a packaged series of six postcards conveying information about a singular theme. These cards provided a platform to build upon conceptual knowledge and technical skills for integrating typography and images into a cohesive visual system.
One of my favorite parts of attending the University of Iowa is cheering on our Iowa Hawkeyes. I love sports and found so much joy in creating a postcard series featuring several of Iowa's teams. I developed a visual format that repeats across each postcard inspired by Iowa's textured, overlapping, and gritty visual style used in their athletic imagery. Go Hawks!
